We're building the OT Security reference for Africa

An ambition born on the ground. Driven by a team that knows the continent's industrial realities. Reinforced by leading partners.

Who we are

An initiative born on the ground

OT Security Universe wasn't born in a meeting room. It was born on the ground — in direct contact with the African CIOs, CISOs and industrial directors who all say the same thing: their OT risk is rising faster than their ability to manage it.

Budgets to defend. Production stoppages to avoid. Compliance to demonstrate. Insurers to reassure. OT cybersecurity has become a board-level issue, not a technical topic. But the available tools haven't kept up.

The project grew out of the North Africa OT Security Forum, which we created to bring together the Maghreb's industrial OT community. Out of those conversations came a simple conviction: African industry deserves a program designed for it — not a belated adaptation of Western solutions, not an offering disconnected from local budgetary and regulatory constraints.

A team rooted locally, connected globally

We're a collective of experts, practitioners and partners who share one conviction: OT cybersecurity can only be effective if it's managed over time, decision-driven, and grounded in the operational reality of organizations.

Our team combines hands-on expertise, command of international standards (IEC 62443, ANSSI guidance) and a fine-grained understanding of African industrial environments.

The initiatives behind OT Security Universe

North Africa OT Security Forum

The first platform dedicated to industrial cybersecurity in North Africa.

Maghreb Cybersecurity and Cloud Expo

The reference event on cybersecurity and cloud for the Maghreb ecosystem.

Healthcare IT Forum

A new event dedicated to the digital transformation of the healthcare sector. First edition in May 2026 in Tunis.

Digilab

The radio show dedicated to cybersecurity, giving a voice to the sector's decision-makers and experts.

From those years of conversations with African industrial CIOs, CISOs and executive leadership, one thing became clear: a persistent gap between the cyber maturity expected by international groups, regulators and insurers — and the resources actually within reach of African industry. OT Security Universe is his answer to that gap.

African industry doesn't need more audits. It needs continuous support, built with them, that speaks their language and respects their realities. That's what we're building.

Our vision

Making OT cybersecurity a strategic lever for African industry

We help industrial companies understand how much they stand to lose — and what to do to prevent it.

We believe industrial cybersecurity isn't a constraint. It's a competitive advantage. For African industrial groups looking to win new markets, attract investors, or answer regulators — command of OT risk has become non-negotiable. But equipping yourself isn't enough. You have to manage, understand, decide.

Engineers analyzing indicators in a control room

A continuous issue, not a one-off

An audit once a year protects no one. OT cybersecurity has to be managed like any other strategic issue — with a dashboard, regular tracking, and the ability to adjust continuously.

A leadership responsibility

The decisions that matter — budgets, priorities, trade-offs — are made at the level of CIOs, executive leadership, and executive committees. For them to be made, you need readable indicators, credible financial-impact analyses, and deliverables that speak the language of business.

An answer built from within Africa

Tighter budgets. Different vendor ecosystems. Specific regulations. Heterogeneous equipment. Scarce in-house expertise. A relevant answer can only emerge from a fine-grained understanding of these realities.

Our partners

An ecosystem backed by leading partners

OT Security Universe draws on a network of strategic partners, chosen for the complementary strength of their expertise.
